Usage Method

Verify that the IP assignment and DNS server assignment settings in Ethernet network settings are set to automatic.
After plugging in the network cable (please bring your own network cable), open a browser and enter a non-existent URL (e.g., bbb.com)
You will be automatically directed to the IP registration page, where you need to enter your school ID and email password and click the "Register IP" button. After successful verification, you will be granted access and can use the network within 5-10 minutes.

Q: After plugging in the network cable, I entered a non-existent domain (e.g., aaa.om), but the registration page did not appear?

Please refer to the network problem-solving SOP or follow these steps to troubleshoot:
1. Open the terminal (cmd) and enter ipconfig
2. If the "IPv4 address" in the "Ethernet adapter Ethernet" section does not start with 140.118
  
  Preliminary judgment: The problem may be with the individual's network cable, information box, or dormitory switch
  1. Solution steps
    - Network cable:
      
      Try replacing the network cable and reconnecting
    - Information box, switch:
      
      If the problem persists after updating the network cable, please fill out the network feedback form or contact the network administrator
3. If the "IPv4 address" in the "Ethernet adapter Ethernet" section starts with 140.118
  1. Try using different browsers (Firefox, Brave, Google, Edge, etc.) and re-enter a non-existent domain name (such as aaa.om) to see if the HTTP website can successfully start and register
  2. Try shutting down and restarting your computer. If the problem persists after 10 minutes, try entering a non-existent domain again
    - Record the computer's "IPv4 address" and "MAC address", fill out the network feedback form, and contact the network administrator
